About Veerway
The vision behind Veerway
SMEs are being sold AI hype when what they need is a straight answer: where AI fits, where it doesn’t, and what it’s actually worth. Veerway exists to give them that answer.

Who You're Talking To
Hi, I'm Jay.
I'm the founder of Veerway, an independent AI consultancy for small and medium-sized businesses.
Right now, when you work with Veerway, you work with me directly. The person who audits your business is the same person who builds the plan and answers the phone when something needs attention. As Veerway grows that will change, but the standard it sets won't.

Founder-led, no account-manager handoff

Built for SMEs, not enterprise theatre

Practical audits, pilots and workflow recommendations
The Background
What I bring to the table
Commercial AI experience
I've been involved in demos, proposals, pilots and partnerships for AI products sold into SMEs, so I understand the gap between what sounds good in a demo and what actually works inside a business.
SME-first thinking
Most smaller businesses do not need a huge transformation project. They need to find the right workflow, prove the value, and avoid wasting money on tools nobody uses.
Practical implementation focus
Veerway is built around usable outcomes: faster response times, less admin, clearer handoffs, better follow-up, and more confident teams.
Why Veerway Exists
I started Veerway because SMEs keep getting noise instead of answers.
My route into AI was practical before it was polished. I started by studying how businesses could use AI in real workflows, then moved into the commercial side of an AI company selling to SMEs. That gave me a close-up view of what actually lands with business owners, and what creates confusion. Two things stood out.
AI genuinely works for smaller businesses
I watched missed calls get answered, enquiries get handled out of hours and hours of admin disappear. When it's pointed at the right workflow, the results are real and they show up fast.
But most owners never get a straight answer
The market throws tools, agents, platforms and 'AI transformation' at them before anyone asks the only question that matters: which workflow, if fixed, would actually move this business? So owners either buy something that gathers dust, or decide AI isn't for them. Both outcomes are avoidable.
In 2026 I started Veerway to be that straight answer: a consultancy that starts with the business, not the technology. No product to push. No incentive to recommend more than you need.
How Veerway Works
One workflow at a time. Measured properly.
Every engagement runs through ADOPT, the framework built for exactly this problem.
Audit
Define
One Workflow
Pilot
Track
Plain English, always
If a recommendation can't be explained without jargon, it isn't ready to be a recommendation.
One thing at a time
Pilots before rollouts. Proof before spend. Nothing scales until it has earned it.
You own everything
The audit findings, the plan, the systems set up along the way. If the engagement ends tomorrow, it all still works and it's all still yours.
Humans stay in the loop
AI drafts, sorts and flags. People approve, decide and own the relationship with your customers.
Just As Important
What Veerway won't do.
No trendy tool pushing
If a spreadsheet, process change or better handoff solves it, that is the recommendation.
No blind customer automation
Customer-facing AI needs guardrails, escalation rules and human review.
No careless data use
What goes into each tool, under what terms, is part of the plan from day one.
No fake scale
Veerway is early, independent and founder-led. That is why early clients get proper attention.
